Options/Services
As an earned‑revenue nonprofit, we generate income through organizational services. This helps sustain our operations so that community funding can focus on expanding belonging‑centered programs and supporting staff where needed.

Social Impact Audit
A comprehensive review of existing project/programs to identify gaps in belonging. Includes a roadmap for ethical, people-centric alignment.
- Identifies gaps in belonging, trust, and alignment within internal culture, external engagement, or both.
- Provides a practical roadmap to strengthen ethical decision-making, relational health, and people-centered operations/programs.
- Helps organizations reduce friction, improve credibility, and create accessible environments where people feel respected, connected, and supported.

Social Impact Analysis
Pre-development/launch audit and analysis to fully recognize and prevent potential frays in the social infrastructure of a project/program.
- Helps leaders recognize potential relational, cultural, or systemic risks before a project, program, or initiative launches.
- Strengthens planning by embedding belonging, responsiveness, and ethical foresight into the foundation of the work.
- Prevents avoidable disconnects that can weaken cohesion, trust, customer experience, or public support.

Upholding the BAR
On-going support for your organization or program to ensure co-created solutions evolve through the people they serve.
- Provides ongoing guidance for upholding belonging-centered wellbeing within an organization’s culture, strategy, and operations.
- Maintains alignment between the mission, values, and persons involved by ensuring the resources to belonging and wellbeing are accessible to every person.
- Continued strengthening of the social infrastructure to prevent future frays in the fabric that uphold belonging, wellbeing, and resilience.

From Raising to Upholding the BAR
A year-long collaborative partnership to ensure belonging is actively upheld through every season of your organization or program. This comprehensive journey moves from initial Awareness (Audit/Analysis) into a sustained presence of Care (Upholding the BAR), utilizing monthly check-ins and quarterly reviews to strengthen and create a reslient social infrastructure among people and through spaces they co-inhabit. We ensure that every individual—regardless of height—feels a part of it, rather than apart from it.
The Case for Cawareness
Why Awareness + Care matters across communities, organizations, and the spaces that hold them.

For Schools, Community Spaces, Civic Settings, and Third Places
- Communities with strong social support recover nearly 30% faster after crisis.
- Stronger community connection is associated with up to 40% more participation and up to 20% less neighborhood crime.
- 61% of youth who feel connected to school show significantly lower mental health risk.
- Youth facing chronic loneliness have a 3x higher risk of depression.
- Just one accepting adult can reduce suicide attempts by 40%.
For Businesses and Organizations
- Belonging at work is linked to 23% higher profitability.
- Strong connection and inclusion can drive up to 56% higher job performance.
- Belonging is associated with up to 50% lower turnover risk.
- Stronger social cohesion can support significantly greater organizational resilience and long-term stability.
- People who feel connected and supported are 3.2x more likely to report being happy, which affects engagement, retention, and culture.
- With nearly 54% of waking life dedicated to the Business Living Space (including digital creep), there is significant responsibility on the employer.
Belonging is not a soft extra. It is a measurable part of what helps people, organizations, and communities stay well, recover from disruption, and remain connected over time. Research continues to show that when people feel supported, seen, and socially connected, outcomes improve across health, safety, and civic life.
Strong social connection has been linked to faster recovery after crisis, longer life, lower mental health risk, and stronger community participation. On the other hand, isolation carries serious consequences, affecting both individual wellbeing and the strength of the broader social fabric. For young people especially, even one accepting, supportive adult can make a life-changing difference.
Cawareness™ exists in that space between noticing and responding. Awareness + Care helps turn values into everyday lived experiences, strengthening the relationships, environments, and moments shared so that help people feel upheld.
The Cawareness Initiative Difference
We bring the lens of Cawareness into how spaces, organizations, and communities foster belonging. While many approaches focus on structure, function, or one-time engagement, we tend to the social fabric that helps people feel seen, valued, and inherently a part of it. Through a trauma-informed, person-centered co-creative approach, we encourage a shift in perspective (the lens) from seeing a cityscape or structure to developing the Living Room of a community and Spaces within it where belonging is not assumed, but where the people who gather, lead, work, and connect “hang the value.”
Traditional Approaches
- Often prioritize physical design, operations, or compliance first
- Community engagement may be limited to feedback, surveys, or town halls (accessibility and with-ness gaps)
- Workplace culture efforts may focus on policies more than lived experience
- Solutions are often expert-led and delivered top-down
- Success is often measured by completion, function, or appearance, measurement is limited to participation
- Social connection may be treated as a secondary outcome
Cawareness Initiative
- Centers Awareness + Care as practical social infrastructure
- Facilitates connection by extending reach to otherwise inaccessible doorsteps
- Bridges with people, not for them
- Helps leaders, teams, neighbors, and stakeholders identify (AWARE) and mend frays (CARE) within the social infrastructure
- Co-creates “Living Spaces” with people so that every voice, regardless of height is heard and upheld
- Supports continuity so connection is maintained through growth and change
